WHO WE ARE

CI Transcription was started in May of 2002.  I have worked with many others companies and learned the ins and outs of the transcription world.  I found in my journey that too many of these companies are only doing business for the paycheck, had no loyalty to the clients or employees, and hired people just to satisfy their turnaround time (without even looking at their resume or checking references).  This got them into a lot of trouble with accuracy problems and multiple lost accounts.  This is when I decided it was time for a change and I opened up CIT.  We are loyal to our clients AND our medical language specialists.  We DO NOT hire specialists just by the look of their resume - they must pass a rigorous testing process and their references must be TOP NOTCH!  Our reputation depends on this, as well as the reputation of our clients.  CIT DOES NOT OUTSOURCE WORK TO OTHER COUNTRIES OR OTHER COMPANIES LIKE MOST OTHER TRANSCRIPTION COMPANIES!  We take pride in making sure our work is accurate, and the only way to ensure the work is quality - WE DO IT OURSELVES!

We do not hire medical transcriptionists.  We hire only medical language specialists.   

What is a medical language specialist? 

Medical language specialists are people who have achieved the education and training necessary in becoming the most qualified and well-rounded in providing accurate healthcare documentation!  Medical transcriptionists simply type a medical report and don't necessarily have the education and experience to know what they are typing.  But medical language specialists understand the diagnoses and treatments, and this information allows them to produce the most accurate patient information.  They are aware of just how crucial this documentation can be for current and future patient healthcare, legal documentation, and insurance reimbursement, and this knowledge is what sets them apart from the medical transcriptionist.

CIT is not a training facility for transcriptionists.  We are a well-rounded, dedicated, caring, well-educated group of individuals who are in this profession to enhance the quality of medical care for EVERY patient and medical professional.  Every medical language specialist that currently works with our company is well-qualified and has more than 10 years of experience in multiple specialties.  We only require 5-7 years of experience to apply, but we have been fortunate in finding people much more qualified.  That makes us the best at what we do!

• If you already have an in-house medical transcription staff and you would like to contract with our company, we will hire on your current qualified transcritionists.  This will assure you the knowledge of having your own trained professional on the job, assure them a continued position typing your dictation, and an opportunity to work from their home and spend more time with their families.
